The cover for Volume 1 of Awakening, due out in late Spring from Archaia Studios Press, written by yours truly, illustrated by Alex Eckman-Lawn, and lettered by Thomas Mauer.

"The once peaceful city of Park Falls has been tainted by a series of gruesome murders and missing persons. Cynthia Ford, known as the town crazy, comes forward to speak with retired police detective Derrick Peters one January afternoon. Derrick is shocked by one word: Zombies. More questions then answers arise with the arrival of Dr. Daniel Howe and the discovery of attack survivor Sandra LaFayette.

Unable to ignore Cynthia’s information, Derrick explores the mystery as weeks turn to months and the death toll rises. Could Cynthia be right or has she truly gone insane? Follow the first half of Park Falls’ year-long struggle for answers here…"

Stunning. I adore the series and the hardcover volume 1 is a permanent resident of my coffee table.
